OSHC/OVHC

For all international students it is mandatory to have overseas student health cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of their study in Australia. OSHC usually cover visits to the doctor, hospitals treatment, ambulance services and limited pharmaceuticals.

OVHC (overseas visitor health cover) is a requirement for most temporary visas’ holders such as temporary work visa, parent visas etc. It is also recommended for visitor visa applicants.
